Taylor High boasts of alumni that have distinguished themselves in various walks of life and served the world over the past 170 years.  We can find the old boys of the school from among well known freedom fighters, scientists, industrialists, businessmen, public administrators, politicians, legal luminaries, teachers, philosophers, movie stars, to the latest technology industry professionals.

Here is short sample list of alumni that made to history books over the years. The school is proud of these and many other distinguished students who have served and are serving our country and are beacon lights to the present generation.

 

1. Revered Sri Alluri Sita Ramaraju, who led the rebellion against the British Govt during 1923-24.

2. Sri Sonti Venkata Rama Murthy, M.A, I.C.S., who had served our country in many capacities including a governorship before and after independence.

3.  Dr. Tenneli Suryanarayana M.A., former Director of Public instruction (Composite Madras state) and also former Director of Sri Alagappa Chettiar Electro-Chemical Institute of Karaikudi and former Principal of the S.R.R and C.R.R college, Vijayawada.

4.  Dr. Swami Gnanananda D.Sc., (a self illuminated mystic), Professor of Nuclear Physics at Andhra University.

5.  Sri Grandhi Venkata Reddi Naidu, B.A.,BL., a distinguished lawyer and a Cabinet Minister of the government of Andhra Pradesh. 

6. Sri Rao Bahaddur Yerramalli Narayana Murthy Panthulu B.A.,B.L., a distinguished lawyer of Narsapur, First Municipal Chairman of Narsapur, a great educationist and founder of the The Narsapur College, Narsapur which was later renamed after him as “Sri Yerramilli Narayana Murthy College.” He was also the secretary & Correspondent of the Taylor High school for about 3 decades.(1927-58) 

7. Col D.S Raju M.R.C.P (UK) & R.C.S (UK), Colonel of the Indian National Army, personal physician to Netaji Subash Chandra Bose. Member of Lok Sabha, Minister of state, the Department of Defense and Health of the Govt. of India.

8. Sri G. A. Narasimha Rao, former Chief Engineer of the A.P for irrigation and Chief Engineer of Nagarjuna Sagar Project, and Chairman Central Board of Power and Irrigation. 

9. Sri C.S. Sastry, M.Sc. I.A.S.

10. Padmasri A.S.  Chetty, B.S., D.Com., a well known social worker and founder of the Bhagavantho Gupta Women’s College and Jawahar Vidyalaya of Narsapur.
