Sri P.  Jagan Mohan Rao is the current  Secretary & Correspondent of the Taylor High School Management Committee. He was first elected to the position of  Secretary & Correspondent of the Taylor High School Management Committee by the General Body in the year 1998. He has been leading the institution over the past 23 years.

During his term as its Secretary & Correspondent, THS took up a number of modernization initiatives including Branch school building reconstruction.  Some of the most recent initiatives aimed at modernizing the school with a glorious past and a history of 175 years, into a “School of The Future include:

  • Revitalizing of Alumni Network and constitution of THS Samskrithi
  • Introduction of English Medium Education into the Elementary School curriculum
  • Building strong relationships with a network of not for profit organizations to bring in technology, infrastructure and funding for THS
  • Introduction of Smart Classrooms along with adoption of EdTech Platforms

Management model of the School

Taylor High School, established in 1852, being one of the earliest & oldest schools in the Narsapur region has contributed enormously over the years. The Management of these institutions are represented by Sri P. Jagan Mohan Rao, Secretary & Correspondent of the School Management Committee.

The school has recently formed a THS Action Committee for speedy development of its vision to move from being a school with a glorious past, with a history of 175 years, to becoming the School of The Future. 

In the year 1922,Sub-collector Sri T.V. Anand E. Kumar, I.A.S, framed a scheme for the constitution of a committee to manage the school affairs. Accordingly, since then, Management of the school is being constituted under the scheme so decreed by Sub-Court, Narsapur in O.S.No.19 of 1922. As per the decree, term of the Secretary and executive members shall be three years. The Revenue Divisional officer/Sub- Collector shall be its president. The secretary shall be its correspondent also. The members who donate Rs. 500/-shall be members for life and constitute the General body. The general body besides consisting of all donors of Rs 500, contains representative from old boys, Bar Association and the staff.
